We arrived to set up at the convention hall around 5 o'clock and the place is gigantic! Just to give you an idea, the event staff are riding mountain bikes! Ariving looks like you have pulled up to an airport terminal. We parked and unloaded in the back (where we had to pay $60 between parking and unloading) where we saw a replica delorian. The back to the Future car is pretty cool and the driver said it gets great gas mileage too. The inside looks like about 2 football fields long and about 50 feet tall! Some of these 12'x12' spots have tens of thousands of dollars spent on them. companies like LOWES and CHASE have gone all out, I never knew how many companies exist because of this industry! It's amazing, and San Diego is beautiful, I will post tomorrow's update around 9:00 pst.
